Maternity Portrait Photographer Near Eau Claire, WI
- When should I schedule my session?
-
I highly recommend you schedule your session when you reach your second trimester. Your maternity session will take place between 28-32 weeks of pregnancy.
First time moms tend to show later in their pregnancy, so keep that in mind when you book your maternity session.
- What should I wear?
-
We will customize the styling of your maternity session to the look and feel you want to portray in your session. After booking your session we will discuss colors for enhancing your images.
You will also have access to my maternity gowns that will provide a well-tailored feel to your maternity portraits.
You will need nude seamless maternity underwear/thong and a well fitting nude strapless bra for most maternity gowns.
Make sure your nails are well manicured as they will be in the images. Mamas, if you paint your nails, please stay away from bright colors. You don't want your nails to be the focal point of your images. Light neutral colors or French tips are best.
Your skin should be moisturized, eyebrows are groomed, legs are shaved and ditch the hairband and watches from your wrists.
For the Dads:
Stay away from clothing with large logos. Make sure your clothing is clean and free of wrinkles and lint.
Make sure your fingernails are clean and well manicures.
Skin should be moisturized, eyebrows are groomed and beards/mustaches are freshly groomed. Ditch the watch off your wrist and the phone from your pockets.
- Can my husband/partner be included in my maternity session?
-
Absolutely. Your spouse/partner and your child(ren) are welcomed to be apart of your maternity session. It's a special moment for all to be apart of.
I just ask that you make sure your spouse/partner is willing to being in the images and is cooperative. I will not tolerate grumpy fathers.
- What is required to book a session?
-
A session retainer fee is required to formally reserve all sessions.
The retainer fee ensures a confirmed reservation for your session and includes a pre-session consultation, your photography session, and an in-person reveal and ordering session. The session retainer fee is nonrefundable and is separate from any portrait collections or portrait artwork, and allows a smooth portrait experience and all it entails.
- What is your rescheduling policy?
-
If you need to reschedule, please contact me at least 24-48 hours in advance if you won't be able to come in for your scheduled portrait session due to illness or another reason. Even though the session fee is nonrefundable, we can reschedule your session within seven days of your original session.
